Boondock Baby (John 1:14; 14:9)
What Jesus’ birth teaches us about God.
Each Christmas, the world is reminded that something important happened two 2,000 years in Bethlehem. The words of a popular carol accurately express what happened: “The hopes and fears of all the world do rest on thee tonight.
But Jesus’ birth is about more than hope. Though the gospels record the story of Jesus’ birth, Paul’s letters go on to discuss that birth’s implications—what it tells us about the person and character of God.
God is a HUMBLE God (Phil 2:3–11)
God is an APPROACHABLE God (Eph 2:11–22)
God is a COURAGEOUS God (1 Cor 1:18–28)
